Current stage: research and concept development. Numadelic has no commercially available products and is not taking orders. What this means

Partner in the development of adaptive manufacturing intelligence.

Numadelic is at the research and concept-development stage. We are looking for partners who value a carefully defined programme, honest reporting of what works and what does not, and measurable milestones.

For investors

A request to start a conversation, not a fundraising advertisement. We publish no funding amount, valuation, market size, revenue or projection, because none has been approved for publication, and none is implied.

The problem

Manufacturing customised products from variable workpieces can involve significant measurement, planning and process complexity for every piece.

The proposed solution

VIVO investigates material-aware sensing, modelling, decision-making and adaptive execution as one connected system. See VIVO.

Initial application

Naturally rounded Himalayan river stones and customised washbasin concepts. See Applications.

Expansion potential

Other natural, heterogeneous or irregular materials, and low-volume customised manufacturing more generally.

Commercialisation hypotheses

These are possibilities to investigate. They are not established revenue streams.

  • Custom-product manufacturing
  • Technology licensing
  • Industrial integration
  • Pilot development
  • Specialised manufacturing services

What an investor can fairly expect to see today: a defined problem, a proposed architecture, a working geometric screening demonstration, and a roadmap that marks current work separately from planned work. Approved company materials can be shared directly after an introductory conversation.

Development milestones

  1. Research and technical requirements Current focus

Defining how much river stones vary, what a washbasin or other product needs from the material, and what has to be measured to decide.

  2. Mathematical and software modelling Current focus

Simplified geometric models and feasibility screening, such as the demonstration on the VIVO page.

  3. Material characterisation and design feasibility Planned

Working with laboratories to characterise real stones and to test which designs can be made from them.

  4. Prototype development Planned

Building and testing sensing, planning and machining steps on real workpieces, starting with a single product concept.

  5. Experimental validation Planned

Measuring whether the approach produces products that meet defined requirements, and recording where it does not.

  6. Industrial pilot Planned

Testing the approach in partnership with a manufacturer under real production constraints.

  7. Commercialisation assessment Planned

Deciding, on the evidence gathered, whether and how to commercialise.

Only the first two stages are described as current work. Everything else is planned and depends on funding, partners and results. Stage statuses to be confirmed by Numadelic before launch.

For government and institutional partners

This page is written so that a public research institution, industrial development body, innovation agency or technology-funding programme can review what Numadelic does and what it still needs to prove.

Potential national relevance, stated carefully: supporting domestic manufacturing capability, developing engineering expertise, and exploring higher-value use of natural materials. These are aims to test, not outcomes achieved.

No endorsement is claimed. Numadelic does not claim recognition, funding, affiliation or eligibility under any government programme. Any such statement will be added only with documentary evidence.

Where institutions can help

  • Research funding for defined, measurable work packages
  • Prototype development
  • Industrial innovation programmes
  • Manufacturing technology development
  • Laboratory testing and material characterisation
  • Technical validation against agreed criteria
  • Industry–academia partnerships

For industrial partners

Numadelic needs real workpieces, real machines and the experience of people who run them. In return it offers a structured way to test whether adaptive planning reduces waste or effort for a specific product.

Technical partnership we are seeking

  • Industrial trials on real stones or other variable workpieces
  • Material characterisation and inspection capability
  • Process development for machining, finishing and measurement
  • Equipment integration: access to machines, tools and fixtures
  • Pilot manufacturing once prototypes justify it
  • Application-specific customisation for a defined product

For academic collaborators

Two kinds of collaboration are open: engineering research on adaptive manufacturing, and research on Indian Knowledge Systems and computation. See the Research page for the questions and methods.

  • Laboratory testing and material characterisation of stone
  • Technical validation of sensing and planning methods
  • Geometry, numerical methods and uncertainty
  • Close reading of source texts and mathematical reconstruction
  • Peer review: we welcome people who find mistakes
